ouch sticker shock - Did you see the markets down 3% today

Lucky it came back.
I wanted to find out how much a 3% drop was worth, and then got some sticker shock.

If I understand this correctly, from here  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_capitalization the total world market capitlization is about 50Trillion.
This means the wealth of all publicly traded companies is 50 Trillion.
US public debt when I checked  here http://www.usdebtclock.org/is about 13Trillion.
Us private debt is 16.5Trillion.
Added together we get 29Trillion.  Over half of the entire worlds publicly traded companies value.
there are 130Million us tax payers. http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=380531
If everyone pays an equal share, you only owe $223,076.92
Back to my quesiton.http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080822150541AAZlWf5
We learn the us markets are only 14Trilliion, so a 3% drop is worth about 420Billion or about $3250 for every tax payer.
And yes, the public debit is worth about the same amount, YIKES! I hope your getting around to paying your taxes.
