We have been on break this week, and were able to do a lot of things even though it doesn't feel that way. I have been off all week, which has been amazing. I am cataching up on all kinds of chores. For example our internet services has been poor, we go the man in and fixed it. I got to follow up with my Doctor and not be worried about him running late. All kinds of good things are going on around here. I have determined we need more of this. On the slacker size we found the show "New Girl" and I have been getting a few rare belly rolls while watching it. In all our staycation has turned out well, I am going to miss it. Next week is starting to catch up with me. I took the kids to the park and was without a good camera so there were no photos of that today. Later we smoked up chicken and a nice piece of Salmon, I hope it kicks those LDLs where it counts. Here is anna standing in the smoke while I test my camera fill flash as it got dark.

We had a few fun sessions with "Herd My Horses" and the game camp. It is amazing how educational and fun this game is. For the animal loves our there, we saw this Hawk. I think it is a red shoulder version, I haven't been able to reach my standard ID resources.
I know this sounds crazy, but the kids asked if they could get in the pool. I was like, err no. They persisted, so I said yes. Amazing, they were in there for like 20-30min. I was so shocked I took some photos, eat that southern hemispher. We must have some Viking in our family line on my wifes side, there was no way I was getting in there.
We had a few wonderful holiday meals, while this photo doesn't show the meal, it shows a happy cook. We all know a happy cook makes happy campers.
For a bit of fun, after reviewing this photo I am a bit concerned I have a little gangster here. I will have to keep that in check.
I know this is kind of long. Martha got the family a few (3) nerf guns and a pack of extra bullets. We had a fun time running around the house shooting each other. It was a hoot. Afterwards, Anna was my model and she posed for me showing a range of emotions. I was egging her on a bit to get her to show the full range. This one of my fav shots. If you have time I would scan around and check out her other sides. In general she was upset because I shot 22 bullets up into the skylight where I was happy they stuck. Anna on the other hand felt she was no longer able to horde the master loot. She was crafty hiding spare ammo all over the house.
One of Anna's best gifts was a scratch off book. She loved this simple gift so much that Alice wanted in on the action. It was nice to Anna share it with Alice. Although she kept an eagle eye on the activities. She delt out a deep dish of sharing, I was impressed, and now I have proof that it can be done.
